“The Anti-Border Corruption Reauthorization Act” Makes Us Less Safe

We encourage you to oppose H.R. 2213, the Anti-Border Corruption Reauthorization Act.  This bill would weaken critical polygraph requirements for Customs and Border Protection Officers (CBP), by allowing exceptions for former state and local law enforcement
officials, veterans and members of the military. Congress should do everything we can to strengthen our CBP hiring standards, not weaken them by passing a bill that undermines crucial vetting tools.
