Please join us in expressing grave concerns about Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Pruitt’s memorandum, published on May 9, 2018, which would undermine future National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) reviews and standard setting. The
memo asks the Clean Air Scientific Advisory Committee (CASAC) to consider “adverse social, economic, or energy effects” while setting NAAQS, which is a direct contradiction to a unanimous Supreme Court decision which noted that only public health
