To accomplish anything in Congress, we have to come together, setting aside ideology, and forge compromises for the good of the nation.  That has been my guiding principle since coming to Congress, and it’s the guiding principle behind my new legislation,
the Tax Pollution, Not Profits Act.  Currently we have two huge forces working against economic growth: our extremely high corporate tax rate and the existential threat of climate change.  This legislation seeks to solve both problems at the same time.
