By now, your office should have received an invitation from Black Women for Positive Change for a May 1st staff briefing on the important role that broad based de-escalation training can play in helping to combat violence in our communities. 
Among the speakers at the briefing will be community leaders, including the Police Chief of the District of Columbia, 100 Fathers Inc., and the National Black Nurses Association to talk about how Congress can help make our communities safer.
