Cosponsor the Support Our Start-Ups Act (H.R. 2524)

The Buchanan-Sanchez Support Our Start-Ups Act (H.R. 2524) would quadruple the amount of deductible start-up and organizational costs. While the recent tax extenders legislation took steps to increase program integrity, the law still allows individuals to use an Individual Tax Identification Number (ITIN) rather than a social security number to claim the CTC. Unfortunately this incentivizes illegal immigrants to claim this tax credit.
