manufacturers are attempting to provide state and federal governments and medical professionals with rigorous research on cannabis’ effects, both adverse and therapeutic, but their applications to do so have not been assessed.

We have all heard the recent news about data breaches at several large corporations.  Our personal information is no longer safe.  In the past week, consumer information has been breached by several companies: Best Buy, Delta Air Lines, Lord & Taylor, Orbitz,
Panera, Saks Fifth Avenue, Sears, and Under Armour, just to name a few.  The time for strong, national data privacy and data protection rules is now and we must put them in place before further damage is done.
