Protect Jobs: Protect Access to Care for the Elderly, Disabled, and Low Income

I recently introduced this legislation to provide a 2-year reprieve from Obamacare’s employer mandate for businesses that provide services through Medicare or Medicaid.

For too long, Congress has failed to fix the broken Medicare sustainable growth rate (SGR) formula used to set reimbursement rates for physicians and other health care providers. With each “doc fix” cliff, health care providers are threatened with drastic cuts to their reimbursement rates and seniors risk losing access to their doctors. This insecurity is inexcusable and Congress can put an end to it now.
