Reauthorize the Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting Program (MIECHV)
Today
over 800 groups representing children and families called on Congress to act swiftly to reauthorize the Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting Program (MIECHV), which is currently set to expire at the end of September. If Congress does not
act, families across the country will lose access to home visiting services that have been demonstrated to improve maternal and child health, prevent child maltreatment, and help children start school ready to learn.
