Use Title II ESEA Funds to Prepare Future STEM Teachers

Dear Colleague:
I ask that you sign on to the below letter to Secretary Arne Duncan regarding the use of Title II ESEA funds for recruiting and developing pre-service, physical science teachers. The Department of Education will be developing further guidance for use of Teacher Quality State Grants in Title II. Currently, recipients of these grants may not use them towards pre-service teacher or principal training.
