Ensure Social Security Fairness: Repeal the WEP and GPO

We invite you to become a cosponsor of H.R. 973, the Social Security Fairness Act of 2015 (H.R. 1795 in the 113th Congress). This legislation would eliminate the Windfall Elimination Provision (WEP) and the Government Pension Offset (GPO), two titles of the Social Security Act that unfairly reduce or eliminate Social Security benefits for millions of Americans who have devoted much of their careers to public service. In the 113th Congress, 136 House members cosponsored this legislation.
