Passing H.R. 3016 this Afternoon Will Break a Promise to Our Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines

I write today to bring your attention to an urgent problem in H.R. 3016, The VA Provider Equity Act, and urge you to vote no on the bill. In it are many great provisions that help our Veterans and improve the VA. However, the way we are funding this bill is by cutting housing payments to children of Service Members. If they do not or are unable to transfer their GI Bill benefit within 180 days of enactment, their children will receive a 50% cut to their housing stipend.
