Request For Signatu SUPPORT OUR WORLD WAR II VETERANS

September 5, 2018

Please join me in helping honor our nation’s World War II veterans by signing the below letter to the Defense Appropriations conferees supporting the $2 million included in the Senate Defense Appropriations bill to facilitate programs that will observe the
75th Anniversary of the end of World War II to be included in the final Defense Appropriations Conference report. This war- which threatened our existence as a nation and a free society, and showed the strength of American democracy and the spirit
and sacrifice of the American people both at home and abroad- is one worth honoring in an extraordinary way. The majority of these programs will be planned through private organizations with private funds. However, the $2 million appropriated will go towards
administrative costs at OSD for resources and planning of DoD involvement in these programs.
