The North American Wetlands Conservation Act (NAWCA) is a long-standing program that has been immensely effective in leveraging non-federal funds to protect, restore, and manage wetland habitat for migratory birds and other wildlife. NAWCA provides federal
cost-share funding to support the North American Waterfowl Management Plan.

DEADLINE MARCH 17TH: Support Funding for the Land and Water Conservation Fund

March 16, 2020

We invite you to join us in signing the attached bipartisan letter to the Interior and Environment Appropriations Subcommittee, urging the Subcommittee to provide significant increased funding for the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) in fiscal year
(FY) 2021.  Congress last year made the strongest endorsement of LWCF, based on its success and near-universal popularity across the country, by voting to make its authorization permanent in S. 47, the John D. Dingell, Jr. Conservation, Management, and Recreation
Act.

EXTENDED UNTIL MONDAY: Support the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program in FY21

March 16, 2020

As we develop the Fiscal Year (FY) 2021 defense authorization and appropriations bills, we urge you to join us and support increased production and continued investment in the F-35 program. As we face increasingly advanced global threats, it is critical
that we continue to increase F-35 production – our nation’s only 5th generation stealth aircraft – in order to reduce overall program costs and ensure the United States maintains its competitive edge.

DEADLINE MARCH 17th: Support State and Tribal Wildlife Grants (STWG) program

March 16, 2020

Please join us in supporting the highest level of funding possible for the State and Tribal Wildlife Grants (STWG) program in fiscal year 2021. This program is the nation’s core program for preventing fish and wildlife from becoming endangered. The STWG
program provides states, territories, the District of Columbia, and Indian tribes with important funding to implement wildlife conservation actions needed to prevent wildlife from becoming endangered and to help recover those already listed. The program is
working to recover over 12,000 species identified by the states as Species of Greatest Conservation Need.
