Co-sign letter supporting eligibility of local chambers of commerce and other 501(c)(6)s to access relief under the
CARES Act

**ADD YOUR BOSS HERE**

Deadline: COB, Thursday, April 9

Co-Leads: Reps. Chris Pappas (NH-01) and Brian Fitzpatrick (PA-01)

Dear Colleague:

Local chambers of commerce across America are providing critical guidance and resources to help small businesses weather the current economic downturn. Unfortunately, just like the businesses they serve, many local chambers are now experiencing their own
serious financial challenges. However, these organizations are currently ineligible for direct federal assistance through the lending programs included in the CARES Act.

To ensure that local chambers of commerce and other 501(c)(6) organizations that support our Main Street economy can continue to provide assistance to our small businesses at this exceptionally difficult time, please join me in writing to Speaker Pelosi,
Leader McCarthy, Chair Velázquez, and Ranking Member Chabot urging them to include language in the upcoming coronavirus legislation to enable these organizations to access relief through the Payroll Protection Program and by receiving Economic Injury Disaster
Loans.

To sign on to the letter, please use this form. With any questions, please contact Oliver Edelson (Oliver.Edelson@mail.house.gov) in Rep. Pappas’ office
or Joseph Knowles (Joseph.Knowles@mail.house.gov) in Rep. Fitzpatrick’s office.

Sincerely,

Chris Pappas Brian Fitzpatrick
