Support National Scenic and Historic Trails Funding in FY2021

Please join us in support of dedicated and robust funding for the National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management and U.S. Forest Service to administer and manage the 30 National Scenic and Historic Trails under the Fiscal Year
(FY) 2021 Interior, Environment and Related Agencies appropriations bill.
Because these trails, by law, are collaboratively managed with nongovernmental partners, it is necessary that Congress directs the U.S. Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management to include specific line-item allocations for each of the 30 National Scenic
and Historic Trails they manage. We are concerned that the lack of a unified, robust budget account for these premier trails place a greater burden on nonprofit partners to maintain and protect these public lands which provide many benefits to the American
