Sending Office: Honorable Collin C. Peterson
On behalf of the Congressional 4-H Caucus, we would like to invite Members of the House of Representatives to join the Caucus.
4-H is the largest youth development organization in the nation. It reaches young people in every county and parish in America with activities that fit the varying needs of communities. Through in-school and after-school activities, clubs and camps, the
organization empowers nearly six million young people by developing critical life skills in areas including health, science, agriculture and civic engagement. 4-H is part of the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Cooperative Extension System and is delivered
through a network of 110 public universities and more than 3,000 local Extension offices.
The Congressional 4-H Caucus works to raise awareness of the impact 4-H is having on young people and communities across the United States. Members of the 4-H Caucus will have opportunities to attend and participate in Caucus briefings and be seen as leaders
and advocates by the many 4-Hers in their districts. Caucus members may be asked to promote legislation that supports the mission of 4-H.
If you have any questions, or to add your Member to the Caucus, please have the staff member who will serve as point of contact for the Caucus contact Cody Hollerich in Congressman Peterson’s Office at
