Dear Colleague:

The Committee on House Administration Minority Staff would like to invite you to attend an informational staff briefing on the U.S. House of Representative’s Wounded Warrior Fellowship Program on Friday, January 31st at 1:30 PM in the Committee on House Administration
Hearing Room, 1310 Longworth House Office Building.

The Wounded Warrior Fellowship Program, established in 2008, was designed to provide eligible wounded and/or disabled veterans with an opportunity to serve Congress in a two-year fellowship. Since the program’s inception, more than 320 veterans have participated
in the Wounded Warrior Program. Currently the program, which is administered by the Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), is authorized for 120 fellowship slots – 10 of these positions are allocated to House Officers, and the remaining slots are
equally divided between the Majority and Minority.

This briefing will focus on detailing how the program operates, the benefits for Member office participation, and how your office can get involved. There will be a presentation by the Director of the Wounded Warrior Program, as well as representation from
several of the current fellows participating in the program. Please RSVP and direct questions to
