portion starts at 11:30). Below is an event description and

link to RSVP as well.
Purpose: Blockchain is widely believed to be so important to our future economic growth and improvement of antiquated financial and industrial systems that, even in its current embryonic stage, it has already taken the attention of most
major world governments and central banks. A growing number of nations – such as Switzerland, Singapore, Japan and most recently, China are adopting policy and regulation that embraces innovation in order to seize the disruptive economic opportunities of blockchain
and cryptocurrencies – and because of that, the sector is now being dubbed the “New Space Race”.
While Congress and U.S. Regulators took a “Do No Harm” policy to the Internet industry 25 years ago, which decidedly was the right decision to lead the United States to become the dominant Internet Super Power and produce unprecedented economic and job growth,
many U.S. blockchain innovators have had to leave America in recent years citing a regulatory atmosphere that is stifling at home and welcoming abroad.
Topics covered: US, China, Japan, EU, Middle East, Regulatory Comparisons, Wall Street, LIBRA, Investment Themes, Blockchain Future Trends.
Subtopic discussion areas:
— The United States has lost competitiveness in several key technological areas, including 5G, Artificial Intelligence, IOT, High Speed Rail – and now Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies has become the next area that America is on the brink of conceding.
–Will leadership in the United States stick to its values of nurturing freedom and innovation for blockchain, or has that time-honored American value set sail to nations across the Pacific for this geopolitically crucial technological sector?
