Dear Colleague,

By now you should have received an invitation from the National Minority AIDS Council (NMAC) for a special World AIDS Day briefing on
Thursday, December 5th at 11:00 am in 2359 RHOB. This briefing will feature special guest Dr. Anthony Fauci, the Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. As Director of the NIAID, Dr. Fauci has made ending the
HIV epidemic a priority for the Institute. He is universally respected by his colleagues and HIV stakeholders and is regarded as a pioneer in researching not only HIV, but all infectious diseases.

Like Dr. Fauci, NMAC recognizes that we are at a critical point in the HIV movement. Ending the epidemic by 2030 is going to take enormous resources, talent, and drive by every stakeholder throughout the world. We are pleased that Dr. Fauci is taking the
time to talk in-depth about the steps Congress needs to take to end the HIV epidemic.

To RSVP for this briefing, kindly email Policy@NMAC.org

Sincerely

/s/

Barbara Lee
Member of Congress
