The Kidney Shortage: Short Term Salves and Long-Term Solutions – Congressional Briefing with the Organ Reform Group and Network (ORGAN)
10/4/2019 12:00 PM – 10/4/2019 1:00 PM
2075 Rayburn House Office Building
Please join us, the Organ Reform Group and Network (ORGAN), and organ donation shortage experts
on Friday, October 4, 2019 from 12pm to 1pm in 2075 Rayburn House Office Building for a briefing about our nation’s kidney shortage and how we can safely increase the supply of organs for transplantation.
There are over 500,000 Americans on dialysis, and thousands die of kidney disease each year because of a lack of available kidneys.
Our speakers will discuss methods by which we can safely increase the number of transplants and save lives and taxpayer money.
