I would like to forward the below invitation for an event hosted by the group Tuesday’s Children.  The event is today (Tuesday, July 16) from 3-4 pm in Longworth 1539.

Tuesday’s Children is devoted to supporting victims of terrorism and traumatic loss across the United States. I strongly encourage any staff members or interns who are available to attend and learn more about the great work that they do.

Tuesday’s Children is honored to host a presentation in Washington, D.C., in conjunction with the Office of Congressman Glenn Thompson (PA-15). Come by to learn about our Youth Mentoring Program and our mission to support victims or terrorism
and traumatic loss.

 

We are currently seeking mentors for Gold Star families in the Washington, D.C., Virginia and Maryland areas. If you are interested please contact sara@tuesdayschildren.org .
