Dear Colleague,

We invite you to become a member of the Congressional Energy and National Security (ENS) Caucus.

The Energy and National Security Caucus is an updated version of the Oil and National Security Caucus, which has existed in every session since it was created in the 109th Congress. The ENS Caucus is a bipartisan platform where Members are united by a concern
over the security implications of America’s continued reliance on foreign energy resources and vulnerable supply chains for both fuel and electricity. We seek to develop and promote practical legislation to help reduce the security risks associated with our
energy consumption.

Some of the activities of the ENS Caucus will include:

  • Lectures by prominent experts and policy makers to discuss issues related to energy and economics, global energy geopolitics, diversification of our fuel and energy sources, and their impact on our national security.
  • Events and programs on the Hill designed to increase awareness of the critical importance of energy to our national security.
  • Actively exploring vigorous and sound energy policy approaches to ensure that our national security obligations are not only met but also enhanced.

We hope that you will join us in this important effort. If you would like to join the Congressional Energy and National Security Caucus, please contact Harry Semerdjian with Rep. Engel at (202-225-2464), or Joe Bartlett with Rep. Rooney at (202-225-2536).
