Transparency Caucus Briefing:

Congressional Transparency Tools to Track Legislative Information

Friday, June 7, 2:00pm

HC-8, The Capitol

Dear Colleague,

As Chair of the Transparency Caucus, I would like to invite your staff to a briefing to discuss tools that make legislation information more readily available. These websites make it easier for Congressional staff to track bills, find Inspector General reports,
monitor floor activity, compare voting records, watch the courts, understand policy issues, and more.

This briefing will include discussion, tech demos, and the opportunity to ask questions from panelists that have created these tools, including:

  • Steve Dwyer, Office of House Majority Leader, Dome Watch
  • Daniel Schuman, Demand Progress, EveryCRSReport
  • Ben Hammer, GovTrack
  • Marci Harris, PopVox
  • Derek Willis, Pro Publica
  • Sheila Krumholz, OpenSecrets
  • Andrew Weber, Library of Congress,

If you have any questions or would like to join the Congressional Transparency Caucus, please email Hannah Mansbach with Rep. Quigley’s office at
