Dear Colleague:

We write to bring your attention to invitations you should have received to several events this month that showcase the next generation capabilities of directed energy (DE) weapons and technology. These events will provide a great opportunity to grow in
your understanding of directed energy as well as build foundational knowledge if you are new to DE.

This workshop will build on the insights developed from CSBA’s Air Force Aircraft Inventory Study (AFAIS); DoD and congressional actions; and recent improvements/breakthroughs in directed energy and other weapons systems technologies that could form part
of a future layered defense for U.S. bases. This workshop is SECRET//NOFORN
