One in six women in the United States is a Latina. There are currently over twenty eight million Hispanic women living in the United States. Latinas have been contributing members of our society since its inception. They contribute to American society through
their work in business, education, science and technology, engineering, mathematics, literature and the arts, the military, and public service at every level of government. 

As Members of Congress, we play an important role in creating the necessary conditions to invest in the next generation’s accomplishments. Please join me in re-honoring Latina women and their history by becoming a original cosponsor of this resolution. For
