Join the bipartisan Congressional Ukraine Caucus in the 116th Congress

Dear Colleague:

Please join the bipartisan Congressional Ukraine Caucus in the 116th Congress. Since its formation in 1997, the Caucus has served as a proud advocate for liberty and democracy in Ukraine. This work has grown strategically more important given
rising threats to liberty in Europe from Russian aggression and hybrid warfare. Joining the Caucus provides opportunities to raise your voice for Ukraine, attend unique briefings, and engage with high-level officials from the U.S. and Ukraine.

As you know, Ukraine continues to face serious threats to its hard-fought independence. Due to Russia’s war in eastern Ukraine and the illegal occupation of Crimea, over 10,000 people have been killed and millions of Ukrainians have been displaced. Ukraine
serves as a testing ground for Russian hybrid warfare, which will continue to be used against the U.S. and our allies. As a member of the Caucus, Members will strengthen their knowledge about the variety of threats posed by a resurgent and increasingly aggressive
Russia to our national security.

Ukraine will also hold its presidential elections this March and its parliamentary elections later this year. During this sensitive time for Ukraine’s democracy, the Caucus will help ensure the United States vocally supports the priority of an open and free
Ukraine. This is why we request your support for Ukraine’s democracy and ensure that it remains a free nation through your participation with the Caucus.

Thank you for your consideration. We look forward to working with you in the fight for liberty for this important ally and partner. To join, please email Ms. Kaptur’s staff, Nicholas Kazvini-Gore at
