Join the

Bipartisan Congressional International Basic Education Caucus

Co-Chairs: Reps. Mike Quigley and Brian Fitzpatrick

Endorsed By: Basic Education Coalition

Dear Colleague,

We are writing to invite you to become a member of the bipartisan Congressional International Basic Education Caucus.

Congress plays a vital role in authorizing, overseeing, and funding U.S. support for international basic education, and your involvement will help ensure that the United States continues to provide quality education assistance to children in need.

The International Basic Education Caucus was established in 2015 to grow bipartisan support in Congress for international basic education programs, increase understanding of global education challenges, and establish a platform to respond quickly and effectively
to events that endanger children’s right to learn.

Education is essential for countries to achieve economic growth, poverty alleviation, social stability, and participatory democracy. U.S. programs provide students with safe and equitable access to quality education so that children develop the necessary
skills to lead vibrant and successful lives. We are looking forward to exploring and pursuing these and many other education initiatives in the 116th Congress, and we hope you will join us.

Please contact Hannah Mansbach with Rep. Quigley (Hannah.Mansbach@mail.house.gov) or Joseph Knowles (Joseph.Knowles@mail.house.gov) with Rep. Fitzpatrick
to join the Caucus.

Sincerely,

MIKE QUIGLEY                                                                              BRIAN FITZPATRICK

Member of Congress                                                                          Member of Congress
