Please join me in honoring Latinas by cosponsoring a resolution celebrating the heritage, culture, and contributions of Latinas in the United States.
One in five women in the United States is a Latina. There are currently over sixteen million Hispanic women living in the United States. Latinas have been contributing members of our society since its inception. They contribute to American society through
their work in business, education, science and technology, engineering, mathematics, literature and the arts, the military, and public service at every level of government.
As Members of Congress, we play an important role in creating the necessary conditions to invest in the next generation’s accomplishments. Please join me in honoring Latina women and their history by becoming a cosponsor of this resolution. For more information
or to cosponsor contact Sheresh Khan with Rep. J. Luis Correa, 5-2965 or by email at Sheresh.Khan@mail.house.gov.
Respectfully,
J. Luis Correa
Member of Congress
