Dear Colleague,
As co-chairs of the bipartisan Congressional Skilled American Workforce Caucus, we invite you and your staff to a briefing highlighting employers who are investing in their own pipeline of workers. On
Wednesday, September 26th at 9:30 a.m. in the Members Room (LJ-162) of the Library of Congress’ Thomas Jefferson Building, join us to learn:
How can we help employers develop a cohesive training strategy?
Over the past three decades, the United States has failed to recruit and train workers and sustain enough jobs for a rapidly-growing and developing labor market. This nationwide shortage is a significant factor in America’s underemployment crisis. It is
crucial that employers actively invest in the country’s system of educating the workers that they need.
With panelists representing various industry-driven workforce-training programs, we hope you join us to learn what is working across the country. If you have any questions or would like to RSVP, please contact Lesley Hill with Rep. French Hill (Lesley.Hill@mail.house.gov)
or Alex Huang (Alex.Huang@mail.house.gov) with Rep. Brenda Lawrence.
Sincerely,
French Hill Brenda L. Lawrence
