Working Together: How Students, Faculty, and Police Are Improving Criminal Justice in the University of Scranton’s Community

The University’s Center for the Analysis and Prevention of Crime (CAPoC) offers criminal justice and sociology students the opportunity to engage with faculty to learn about and apply data management, analysis, and presentation skills to problems facing
local criminal justice and social service agencies. Students will present on the crime analysis and evaluation work they’ve done with the Scranton Police Department and a local Crisis Intervention Team training for first responders.
