Dear Colleague,

Please join us in sending a letter to the leadership of the Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies Subcommittee in support of task forces to combat human trafficking. This letter requests continued funding for victims services for victims of human
trafficking at the Fiscal Year 2018 level of $77,000,000.

Since 2010, the Office for Victims of Crime and the Bureau of Justice Assistance have provided funding for grants through the “Enhanced Collaborative Model Task Force.” These grants have enabled the creation of effective and innovative anti-trafficking partnerships
between federal, state, and local law enforcement, together with victim services organizations and community agencies. Given the growing problem of human trafficking across our country, it is important that we encourage the development of new anti-trafficking
task forces, and increase the capacity of those that already exist.

To sign the letter, or if you have questions, please contact Clay Boggs in Rep. Torres’ Office (Clay.Boggs@mail.house.gov) or Allison Feikes in Rep. Comstock’s office (Allison.Feikes@mail.house.gov). The
deadline for signatures is 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 10.

Sincerely,

NORMA J. TORRES                  BARBARA COMSTOCK
