Sending Office: Honorable Duncan Hunter
You are invited to join me and the Uniformed Service League on April 17 in 2253 Rayburn (House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Room), for a presentation and discussion on U.S. Army Lieutenant Clint Lorance.
Currently, Clint is serving a 19-year sentence for giving an order to his fellow soldiers to shoot and kill two Afghan men moving in the direction of their convoy and presenting a threat. Clint never fired his weapon. Additionally, previously withheld information
now confirms forensic evidence linked DNA found on detonated roadside bombs to the DNA of the Afghan men. As you know, roadside bombs have been the primary source of troop casualties through the course of the war in Afghanistan.
We hope you will be able to join us. Lunch will be served (boxed lunch/cold cuts & drinks) from 12 to 1 PM. Formal invitation to follow.
