Dear Colleague,

The month of March is National Women’s History Month. Please join me in honoring Latinas in the United States by cosponsoring a resolution Recognizing Women’s History Month and celebrating the heritage, culture, and contributions of Latinas in the United
States. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV) will be introducing identical legislation in the Senate.

One in five women in the United States is a Latina. There are currently over sixteen million Hispanic women living in the United States. Latinas have been contributing members of our society since its inception. They contribute to American society through
their work in business, education, science and technology, engineering, mathematics, literature and the arts, the military, and public service at every level of government.

As Members of Congress, we play an important role in creating the necessary conditions to invest in the next generation’s accomplishments. As we celebrate Women’s History Month, lets honor Latina Women and their history by becoming a cosponsor of this resolution.
For more information or to cosponsor contact Valeria Sandoval with Rep. J. Luis Correa, 5-2965 or by email at
Valeria.Sandoval@mail.house.gov.
Deadline to become an original cosponsor is March 7th COB
