Invites you to an informational briefing with:

Travel Writer and Radio Host

Rick Steves

Tuesday, Feb 13 at 4:30pm in Rayburn 2247

Bestselling guidebook author and public TV travel host Rick Steves has been inspired by Europe’s pragmatic approach to drug abuse, with success measured by harm reduction rather than incarceration.

Join us for a discussion on marijuana policy including the issues stemming from the current tension between federal prohibition and the ever-evolving patchwork of marijuana law reforms at the state level in addition to an overview of the benefits that come
with moving towards the legalization and regulation of marijuana nationwide. The briefing will include information on pending legislative remedies available and a Q & A with Rick.

RSVP’s are requested but not required.

Contact NORML Political Director Justin Strekal at Justin@norml.org or 202-483-5500 to RSVP or with any questions.

This event has been organized to meet the requirements for a widely attended event as set forth in the Congressional ethics rules.
