Sending Office: Honorable Jackie Speier
Please join us in co-sponsoring H.R. 4912, the Rosie the Riveter Congressional Gold Medal Act, bipartisan legislation to honor the American women who joined the workforce during World War II.
The working women of America made some of the most important contributions to the war effort, dedicating themselves to strengthening our nation during one of the most challenging periods in American history. Millions of women answered our nation’s call to
action by learning new jobs, often building the vehicles, weaponry, and ammunition that helped win the war. These “Rosie the Riveters” blazed a trail for working women and set a powerful example that continues to inspire generations of women and girls to embody
their “We Can Do It” spirit.
The “Rosies” are among our nation’s greatest living heroines, and they deserve recognition for their tremendous service to our country. If you would like to join us in honoring these women with a Congressional Gold Medal, or if you have any questions, please
contact Alexandria Musser (Alexandria.Musser@mail.house.gov) in Rep. Speier’s office, Mace Flitter (Mace.Flitter@mail.house.gov) in Rep. Fitzpatrick’s office,
or Courtney Callejas (Courtney.Callejas@mail.house.gov) in Rep. Huffman’s office.
