On behalf of the Electronic Warfare Working Group (EWWG), the Directed Energy (DE) Caucus and the Cybersecurity Caucus, we write to invite you to the second annual EWWG education series. These briefings will provide congressional staff with
background information, recent developments, and future concepts for Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO), Electronic Warfare (EW), Directed Energy (DE) and Cyber operations.


The briefing series will give staff the opportunity to learn about and discuss critical issues relating to strategy, organization, and policy. 
And each briefing will provide resources for congressional staff to stay informed and prepare for FY 19 defense authorization and appropriations.

February 23 (2216 RHOB) – Transitioning Directed Energy Weapons: New Technologies and Capabilities, by Dr. David Stoudt, Senior Executive Advisor/Engineering Fellow for Directed Energy, Booz Allen Hamilton;


March 2 (2216 RHOB) – Beyond Third Offset: An EW Industry Perspective, by Mr. John Knowles, Editor-in-Chief AOC Journal of Electronic Defense (JED).

the importance of electronic warfare to national security.
