As the White House and Congress begin discussions on infrastructure, the topic of energy infrastructure looms large. Electric grid infrastructure modernization remains an important but sizeable investment challenge in all states. Rural communities face particular
challenges in both financing and seeking cost-effective energy infrastructure solutions. And recent natural disasters have highlighted the need for a resilient electric infrastructure.

Join the Advanced Energy Storage Caucus, co-chaired by Rep. Chris Collins (R-NY) and Rep. Mark Takano (D-CA), for an update on the U.S. energy storage market and a briefing on new developments in storage serving as electric infrastructure.

With opening remarks from:

  • Rep. Mark Takano, D-CA 41st District

Speakers include:

  • Jason Burwen, Vice President of Policy, Energy Storage Association
  • Ray Hohenstein, Director of Market Applications, Fluence
  • Lauren Sher, Sr. Manager of Government Affairs, NextEra Energy Resources
  • Jan Ahlen, Sr. Regulatory Affairs Manager, National Rural Electric Cooperative Association
