Become an Original Co-sponsor of a Resolution Supporting U.S. Leadership in Ending

Pediatric AIDS

Deadline: Monday, October 23rd

Current co-signers : Holmes Norton, Cohen

Dear Colleague:

Please join us as an original cosponsor of our bipartisan, bicameral resolution recognizing the importance of a continued American commitment to ending pediatric AIDS worldwide. This resolution seeks to raise awareness of the progress we have made and how
far we have yet to go to bring an end to pediatric HIV/AIDS.

Because of the United States’ leadership through programs like the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), there has been great progress made towards ending AIDS in children, including a 70 percent reduction in new infections in children since
2001, resulting in over two million child infections averted. But there is still much to be done; 400 children are infected with HIV each day around the world and less than half of them have access to the medicines needed to keep them alive.

We believe that with continued American leadership, we can end pediatric HIV/AIDS once and for all so we encourage you to cosponsor this resolution. To become an original cosponsor of this resolution or for more information, please contact Klarissa Reynoso
at Klarissa.Reynoso@mail.house.gov  and M.A. Keifer in Rep. Lee’s office at M.A.Keifer@mail.house.gov or Emanuel Saavedra in Rep. Ros-Lehtinen’s office at Emanuel.Saavedra@mail.house.govby Monday,
October 23rd.

Sincerely,
