Sending Office: Committee on House Administration
June 29, 2017
The Office of Inspector General (OIG) has released the report for the annual audit of the U.S. House of Representatives’ Financial Statements for the fiscal year that ended September 30, 2016. We are pleased to report that the House received, for the nineteenth
consecutive year, an unmodified or “clean” opinion on its financial statements. We are confident that with the dedicated professionalism of the entire House operations team, especially the House Inspector General and the Chief Administrative Officer, the House
will continue making improvements where necessary, and maintain its good financial standing in the years to come.
