We ask you to join us in filing an updated amicus brief challenging the Trump administration’s Muslim and refugee ban 2.0.
In addition to other arguments, the brief demonstrates how this ban, by violating the Establishment Clause’s prohibition against government disfavor of a religion, defies our nation’s Constitution and bedrock commitment to freedom of belief.
We will file the brief in both the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals case International Refugee Assistance Project v. Trump and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals case Hawaii v. Trump.
The deadline to sign onto the brief is tomorrow, Tuesday, April 18th at 5PM.
To sign on, please contact Jason Boyd at Jason.Boyd@mail.house.gov or 6-9949.
Rep. John Conyers, Jr. and Rep. Zoe Lofgren
