By now, you should have received an invitation to a panel discussion and viewing of
The VA: What Do We Owe Our Veterans, a documentary that explores the history of the Department of Veterans Affairs and veteran benefits and how we can better serve those who serve our nation.

Prior to the documentary, we will hold a discussion with the Ranking Member of the House Veterans Affairs Committee Tim Walz, Representatives Beto O’Rourke and Seth Moulton, who are featured in the documentary, Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America Policy
Director Melissa Bryant, Dr. Howard and Jean Somers, and moderated by Donovan Slack, USA Today reporter. Legislative themes to be discussed include veteran suicide, healthcare access, mental health, post-traumatic stress disorder, and the claims backlog.
