I invite you to be a co-sponsor of the United States and Israel Space Cooperation Act, H.R. 5989 which seeks to recognize and strengthen our longstanding, mutually beneficial partnership with Israel on the peaceful exploration of space.
We have already been through a lot together in space. For thirty years, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration has partnered with the Israel Space Agency to pursue peaceful space exploration and scientific initiatives in areas of mutual interest
to both countries. We rejoiced together in the success of the Mars Curiosity rover, to which Israel supplied vital components, and mourned together after the loss of the Space Shuttle Columbia.
We introduced this legislation to acknowledge our shared achievements with Israel in space, lay the foundation for our continued successes, and build upon our current partnerships to achieve even greater discoveries in the future.
If you would like to co-sponsor this bipartisan legislation, or have any questions, please contact Aaron Wasserman with Rep. Kilmer at
email@example.com or 202-225-5916 or Christopher Ingraham with Rep. Bridenstine at
Christopher.Ingraham@mail.house.gov or 202-225-2211.
