Dear Colleague:

The Congressional Caucus to End Bullying invites you to cosponsor a resolution to recognize October as Bullying Prevention Month.

As the school year begins for many students, millions of Americans should celebrate the positive change made by bullying prevention efforts that have taken place across the country.

Bullying is an issue that affects all parts of society, from the classroom and social media to the workplace and nursing homes.

We can prevent bullying by creating a culture that supports ‘upstanders’, those who stand against bullying and bullies, and promote a positive way to talk about bullying.

Join the Congressional Caucus to End Bullying by cosponsoring this resolution to recognize the importance of Bullying Prevention Month and its positive effects throughout society.

For more information, or to cosponsor, please contact Robert Lucas in my office at 5-2631 or Robert.Lucas@mail.house.gov.
