Briefing:

 Former Prisoner-of-War BG Rhonda

Cornum (ret.) Tells Her Story!

Wednesday, June 8, 2016

9:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Cannon 334

Dear Colleague,

Her helicopter had been shot down.

She had a gunshot wound and two broken arms.

Five of her crew members died in the crash and then she was

hauled away by the Iraqi soldiers and

held as one of the first female POW’s in over 50 years.

We wanted to bring to your attention the incredible opportunity to hear Brigadier General Rhonda Cornum (ret.) tell her story from the first Gulf War.  Sponsored by TechWerks and co-sponsored by the Military Mental Health Caucus, BG Cornum’s story is the epitome of resiliency.

Please join her as she discusses her story, the importance of military mental health, and equipping troops with the mental health tools needed to be ready for combat.

Please RSVP to Mr. Jeffrey Rimmer at
jeffery@technologywerks.com.
