Dear Colleague;

As the world was shocked and horrified by the attack on a Jerusalem synagogue by Palestinian terrorists who savagely murdered 5 innocent people, including three of which were American citizens, Palestinians were celebrating.

This deplorable violence has been driven and fueled by their leader, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, who has been an American bread winner of approximately 400 million dollars of US Foreign Assistance per year.

Abbas who is Soviet educated, having completed his studies in the U.S.S.R, is proud and honored to incite anti-American, Israeli, and Jewish hatred. Cleary he has gone to great lengths to express his approval for the murder of innocent civilians as seen when he praised Rabbi Yehudah Glick’s attempted assassin as “a martyr defending the rights of our people and its holy places.”

But this is not new; Abbas is a long time hater of Jews. His 1982 PhD dissertation, The Connection between the Nazis and the Leaders of the Zionist Movement, argues that the Nazi-perpetrated Holocaust has been exaggerated.

In the months following the failed peace process and Operation Protective Edge against Hamas, Abbas has supported action by the PA removing any potential for peace, proven by his lead merger of the PA with the terrorist organization, Hamas, and his unilateral anti-Israel resolution at the United Nations.

Therefore, the Palestinian Authority (PA) is no longer a partner in peace and should no longer be a recipient of our assistance. As a Congress we must stop this moral depravity and refuse to reward the PA’s behavior by remunerating them with our precious tax dollars.

We strongly encourage you to become a cosponsor to H.RES. 622 which calls for the suspension of aid to the Palestinian Authority. Please contact Jason Frye with Rep. Bachmann at or Ellie Stern with Rep. Franks at to become a cosponsor.

                 Most sincerely,
