Dear Colleague:
I invite you and your staff to attend a discussion on immigration with Dan-el Padilla Peralta – a formerly undocumented, homeless immigrant who rose to become salutatorian of his class at Princeton University, received his Master’s degree from Oxford University,
is a current Ph.D. candidate in Classics at Stanford University, and will spend the next three years at Columbia University as a Society of Fellows postdoc.  His autobiography is expected to be published by Penguin Press in early 2015.
This talk will happen today, February 25th, from 3pm to 4pm in Cannon House Office Building, Room 441.  Dan-el will discuss his own experiences as a Dominican immigrant to the United States, as well as reflect on immigration concerns in the Graeco-Roman
I hope you will join me in listening to one of the greatest emerging Classicists of his generation.  If you’d like to read more about Dan-el, you may do so
