Bill: H.Res. 428
Date: 1/8/2014

January 8, 2014
Urge the president to release information from the Congressional Joint Inquiry into 9/11
Dear Colleague:
We have introduced H. Res. 428 to make public 28 classified pages from the Joint Inquiry into Intelligence Activities Before and After the Terrorist Attacks of September 2001.  With this resolution, we join the efforts
of the 9/11 survivors, the families of the victims of these tragic attacks, and the Co-Chair of the Congressional Joint Inquiry into 9/11, former Senator Bob Graham, who have long been calling for the redacted pages to be made public.  As our illustrious first
President George Washington wisely said, “Truth will ultimately prevail where there are pains taken to bring it to light.”
We encourage you to make time to read the 28 pages, which you can do by requesting authorization from House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman Mike Rogers or Ranking Member Dutch Ruppersberger.  After
you have had the opportunity to read the classified information, we hope you will cosponsor H. Res. 428.  To do so, please contact Bradley Ryon (Bradley.Ryon@mail.house.gov) in Congressman Jones’ office or Mariana
Osorio (Mariana.Osorio@mail.house.gov) in Congressman Lynch’s office.
Sincerely,
Walter B. Jones                                                                                   Stephen F. Lynch
